How were Native Americans affected by the war?
Native Americans were dramatically affected by the Revolutionary War. The British took their food, land, and their very way of life. As much as the Native Americans wanted to fight back, they couldn't because they did not have the technology the British had. They had no guns, just bows and arrows, and other stone tools. They were far out numbered, leading them Native Americans to flee their homes and sometimes even the country. This is part of the reason the Native Americans culture and heritage is rarely rememberd, because of the small population of people with a Native American background in the United States.
The Hessians and British were a threat to the Native Americans, forcing many of them to leave their homelands.
